Concept Paper Revision as a part of Marketing the Concept

Concept Paper Revision as a part of Marketing the Concept

Before submitting the concept to donor, it is necessary to revise the concept for making it a unique one. It is important to have a substantial amount of feedback from NGO staff members before the concept paper is
shown to other. The concept paper, once the first draft is completed should be handed around the several staff members and to any consultant who has been hired during the planning phase for their comments. When staff are satisfied that this draft of the concept paper is of a very high quality , then can show the paper to potential donors.

It is important to refine the logical framework as this tool provides a shorthand means to communicate all of the essential elements of the project. The logical framework is an instrument in which the donors are particularly interested , because it communicates succinctly the degree to which the logical connections between the desired changes and the means to bring about these changes are solid.

Summary
A solid first draft of the concept paper is dependent on obtaining suggested revisions from as many staff as possible.
